Job Summary

  • The Finance Manager coordinates all activities of the Finance department and is involved in the supervision and management of general financial activities, analyses, business partnership, and ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leadership: The Finance Manager will lead the finance department and supervises end of period processes and supports the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Financial Analysis: Leading in preparation of accounts and conducting quarterly/annual analysis and monitoring the business’ annual budgets.
  • Policy Formulation: To formulate and implement financial policy and procedure for Finnance department. Ensure that the policy is appropriately set for the achievement of company overall goals and objectives. Must also ensure compliance.
  • Collaboration: Maintain relationship with bank and ensure periodic bank reconciliations. Review transaction entries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure that company financial reports are prepared in compliance with the standard requirement.

Academic Qualifications / Skills

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
  • 7 – 10 years working experience.
  • Prior management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Complete Cycle of Transaction in Financial Processes.
  • Cash Flow Analysis and Management.
  • Budgeting and Control Procedures and Standards.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis Skills- Including Collection & Interpretation of Financial Data.
  • Highly proficient in the use of financial software such as Sage, Peachtree etc.
