Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team.
This internship presents an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to gain hands-on experience in business development within the talent development industry.
The selected candidate will have the chance to work closely with seasoned professionals, contributing to our growth initiatives while honing their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Lead Generation: Utilize various channels to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Client Outreach: Initiate and maintain communication with potential clients through email, calls, and networking events to introduce Kaplo Africa's services and establish relationships.
Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of tailored proposals and presentations for client meetings, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies and solutions to meet client needs effectively.
Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team in coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and following up on leads to drive conversion.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong passion for business development and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
Prior experience in sales or business development is preferred but not required.
