Job Description

Trade Lenda is building a digital bank for the Underserved starting with MSMEs across emerging markets today with timely access to credit within 6 hours (4x faster than other alternatives in the market).Responsibilities

Taking record of previous and current day's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization.
Preparing a concise summary of the company's financial position, including cash balance, outstanding receivables, and payables.
Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify potential areas for improvement or concerns.
Assess current financial processes and controls, identifying opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency.
Collaborate with Treasury, Sales, and the leadership team to discuss ongoing initiatives, such as optimizing working capital or evaluating potential expansion into new markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus3+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a track record of success in startups, fintech, payments, or other high-growth technology sectors Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
An entrepreneurial-mind with a knack for solving problems and establishing processes.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero) and excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of the financial industry, with an emphasis on fintech products and services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Prior experience in the fintech industry or emerging markets is a plus.
