Job Description

Responsibilities

To execute EHS system, procedures and policies .
To carryout safety inspection in plant & communicating to concerned HOD & Follow up for compliance.
To ensure compliance of Safety, Environmental legislation and to maintain the records for statutory compliance.
To ensure effective implementation EHS System in plant with respect to accident management system, safety work permit system, safety inspection, environment monitoring and audit.
To prepare training module & to provide safety, fire & environmental awareness training to company as well as contractual employees.
To conduct safety committee meeting and follow-up for recommendation compliance.
Necessary procurement of personal protective equipment and ensure its usage by all employees.
To inspect first aid box, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant system, fire alarm system etc. to ensure fire & safety equipment maintenance.
To Monitor ETP Operations, waste disposal and maintain the record.
To maintain EHS documentation and record.
To assist HOD for compliance of EHS
Record and investigate all incident & near miss, share & implement the learning to prevent re-occurrence.
To conduct safety promotional activity to improve the awareness of safety, Health & environment.
Inform and train employees & contractor on workplace hazards associate risk and arrangement to mitigate them.
Ensure to minimize the adverse impact of business activity on the environment and communities in which its operation is located.
Develop and maintain appropriate emergency response procedure.
Work towards pollution prevention by reducing environmental emission & waste.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with at least 2 years work experience.
Computer Literacy
Aware with ERP System
Having Knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
Ability to work as a team
