Job Description

Our client, a global bank and financial services company is looking to hire a freelance to full-time UX Designer, remote to start but eventually onsite in Wilmington, DE (or NYC).

The UX Designer will work on web and mobile banking products that checking and savings customers will interact with on a daily basis.

Financial services experience is a plus but is not required – the only requirement is at least 3 years of UX design experience.

UX Designer Details:

  • Looking at new features or revising functionality of existing products
  • How does a user get from point a to point b in the product lifecycle?
  • Visual design (within their limited design system) but also design thinking
  • Generally the output is prototypes
  • Experience with journey mapping and design thinking activities is a plus, not required
  • Ability to dig in and ask the right questions yet be an independent AI thinker is key
  • Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
  • Effective communication of design solutions across roles & levels
