Description
- Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
- Identifies and communicates items with low inventory and other department needs to department Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Ensures that all items are available and in a ready to use form.
- Audits incoming shipments and packing slips for quality and accuracy; Identifies and refers inaccurate or unacceptable shipments to management and informs team of any order discrepancies or issues.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory
- Knows and follows all Restaurant, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
Requirements
- 3-4 years proven work experience
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- An analytical mind with strong math skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to accomplish common tasks with little direct supervision.
- Ability to determine department needs based on inventory levels and business volume.
