Job Summary.

Our client who is the world’s leading source of business information and insights is currently hiring a Sales Associate in Port Harcourt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling services within the client’s portfolio to the complete financial sector, capital market, corporate and SME sectors
  • Involved in relationship building / management with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Having knowledge of the importance of data and analytics and accordingly devising / executing appropriate marketing / promotional efforts.
  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets successfully.
  • Objectives setting for each client offering.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Required skills:

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales executive, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to communicate, make presentations and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the company
  • Strong business sense and diverse industry expertise
  • Good communication skills and networking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Capability to manage key customer accounts

Desired Knowledge & experience:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (background in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Commerce).
  • 3+ years of relevant B2B sales experience.
  • Prior experience in direct selling preferred.
