Job Description
- Performing engineering development of construction work package, including project description, construction specifications, AFC drawings and material lists.
- Planning, coordinating, directing and Managing all onshore offshore construction execution activities. Implementation of all work management System, staffing requirements.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the schedule and budget for engineering, including control of changes.
- Developing/compiling engineering deliverable register and document control system for project.
- Technical liaison with Client, Subcontractor and Vendor.
- Contribute through comment and recommendation, to the review and updating of departmental and project procedures.
- Responsible for the day to day running of the fabrication yard and maintenance field maintenance services contract of barges involved in pipe lay operations, heavy lifts, riser Repair Project, platforms revamp and Hook up work.
- Preparing & reviewing statements & procedures for project execution, Installation analysis, pipeline surface recovery analysis, spool-piece and riser design.
- Developing detailed scope of work, design basis documents and detailed project execution plan.
- Preparing cost estimates and project schedules, designing and organizing preparation of pipeline alignment drawings and pipeline crossing drawings, general arrangement details, isometrics, bend schedules.
- Performing engineering development of construction work package, including project description, construction specifications, AFC drawings and material lists.
- Participate in Pre Bid & Pre Award meetings.
- Would be responsible for construction of barges, dry docking & modification work.
- Responsibility for planning operations on-site during marine operations including installation and subsequent maintenance.
- Responsible for developing and implementing Health & Safety procedures for all marine works.
- Negotiate contracts in marine construction, shipyard, and other industrial venues.
- Managing operational assets, offshore support vessels.
- Ensure professional management standards are adhered to.
- Prepare & Monitor Operational Budgets.
- Meeting targets and budgets agreed with the Management- for the maintenance and repair of fleet vessels.
- Prepare plans & reports on operational and maintenance status of fleet vessels; liaising with projects to approve and/or implement temporary vessel modifications.
- Oversee vessel operations and repairs to insure equipment is maintained and operationally ready.
- Monitor fleet personnel manning and training requirements for compliance with safety, regulatory, company policy and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain systems for defect monitoring and repair reporting.
