Our client is a leading player in the ecommere sector, with a dynamic and innovative marketing organization split into two teams: Brand and Integrated Marketing. As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Marketing Planner to join the Integrated Marketing team, focusing on the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:

International Marketing Planning:

  1. Collaborate with team to align international marketing plans with upper funnel and brand initiatives.
  2. Take a lead role in planning mid to lower funnel marketing strategies for the Canadian market.
  3. Work closely with the US team to understand their calendars, available assets, and potential collaboration opportunities for cross-functional campaigns.

Site and Email Management: 4. Oversee updates to the Canadian website, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.

  1. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, considering segmentation, targeting, and personalization.

Direct Mail and Merchandising Collaboration:

6. Coordinate the planning and execution of direct mail campaigns for the Canadian audience.

7. Collaborate with the Canadian merchandising team, bridging gaps in coverage, and ensuring seamless marketing operations during team member absence.

Asset Coordination and Creative Briefs: 8. Write detailed creative briefs, working with internal creative teams to generate assets.

  1. Collaborate with media teams to understand asset requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  2. Provide detailed specifications for assets, including quantity, size, and where to source them.

Post-Holiday Strategy and Tactical Execution: 11. Strategize and plan post-Christmas initiatives for the Canadian site.

  1. Get hands-on with tactical details, ensuring all aspects of the plan are executed efficiently.

Cross-functional Collaboration: 13. Work cross-functionally with site teams, media teams, and merchants to gather insights and requirements.

  1. Leverage insights from the US team to align strategies and optimize collaborative efforts.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing planning or a related role, preferably in an international context.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in e-commerce or retail settings.
  • Familiarity with Workfront, Confluence, and Smart Sheets is a plus.
  • Previous experience writing work documents and creative briefs.
  • Autonomous and able to work independently, taking direction and translating it into actionable plans.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect the dots between media, creative, and merchandising teams.
