Brand Advisor – 

 

This individual will work on a customer team, which is comprised of a lead sales account advisor, supply chain/logistics, business intelligence, and marketing. Role will take on a few of our retail partners, responsible for all marketing, promotions planning and execution with those specific accounts. Must have experience within the oil & gas/energy sector.

 

Key work includes:

  • Developing and maintaining a direct relationship with merchants and marketing contacts at retailer

  • Creating a full year marketing plan, and then pitching that plan. Plans will leverage new product introductions, annual promotion slots (which could include partnering with companies like Hagerty, Hot Wheels, and NASCAR), broad brand themes, and understanding retailer priorities to drive sales.

  • Collaborating with agency team to create assets, improve promotions, plan and buy media, and integrate agency into the customer teams. Also, briefing account needs with Agency; reviewing assets with Agency

  • Managing and stewarding MarCom budgets monthly

  • Measuring impact of promotions/media to optimize for future

  • Being a steward of the various brands including knowledge on brand architecture, brand standards

Other work includes setting up and working events (trade shows, store openings, racing/motorsports, etc)

  • Strong emphasis on working back with our other internal consumer teams (Product innovation, Audience/CRM, Brand, Car Care Ventures, Shopper-based design)

Skills that will be helpful – external focus (customer and consumer), ability to maintain strong external relationships, internal collaboration, anticipation/proactiveness, strong organization skills (budget management), passion for marketing and sales, and can think quickly on your feet. It’s a very team focused business, lots of responsibility given to shopper marketer to own their pieces and work as a team.

 

Travel will vary, but likely 6-8 trips per year at a minimum to either meet directly with retailer and/or internal meetings
