Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
The Manger Business Development – Nigeria will be responsible for Revenue for all Products across Nigeria.
Chenosis is a nascent Platform business within MTN. Our mission is to generate new Revenue Opportunities for Commercial companies across Africa, create enhanced Digital Citizen experiences for governments across Africa and to expedite the journey for innovative StarUps across Africa, using the power of APIs. We are an early Start Up looking to build our core launch team.
Key Deliverables (Non exhaustive)
Performance against Revenue Quota for all Chenosis Products in Nigeria
Feedback into Chenosis Leadership on the initiatives/activities required to ensure that Revenue Quotas are met in Nigeria
Deliver and perform against defined Revenue Quota across Nigeria for all Products
Collaborate with the MTN Nigeria OpCo to build pipeline and convert this pipeline to revenue in a focused manner
Engage with key Enterprise, Startup, Government entities at an executive level
Collaborate with Chenosis and OpCo Marketing to drive Demand Generation activities
Represent Chenosis at key Events/Forums in Nigeria
Align with and regularly brief the MTN Nigeria EXCO on Chenosis activity in Nigeria.
Minimum 4-year degree in Business, Management or Equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years professional experience
Successful Sales Track Record building a High Growth, Disruptive business in Nigeria
Experience of operating in a dynamic, start-up environment
Sales Experience within the Digital Domain – e.g., Selling SaaS, Cloud Services, Telco Digital Products
Strong Communication Skills – communicates with Empathy, Passion and Authenticity
Natural Networker – able to navigate through multiple stakeholders to achieve an outcome
