The role

Kwakol is seeking a vibrant Growth Associate who will be responsible for generating leads, turning leads into customers, and ensuring customer retention. The role entails conducting market research to evaluate customer needs and identify sales leads. The successful candidate will be actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media. Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.

In this role, the Growth Associate will be responsible for negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have proven experience with sales and marketing.

Ultimately, the successful candidate will help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s profitability and sustainable growth.

Areas of responsibility

Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.

Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.

Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.

Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.

Experience and competencies

No specific academic background is required but a degree in the social sciences is desired.

2-3 years previous experience in a similar role.

Great communication skills (written, oral, and visual).

Stellar writing skills and the ability to create content that is concise and suitable for diverse audiences.

Strong oral communication skills and an ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas and insights with team members and clients.

Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
